We monitor your renewals and if we see a large rate increase, we will automatically shop your policy with our other carriers to see if we can save you money.

Our agency was established in 1953 by James Ellis Goodman at our original location in Clarksville. Through hard work and determination, he established a business that continues through 7 decades and three generations. The son of James, Dick Goodman, moved back to Clarksville in 1977 to work in the agency and start a family. He worked alongside his father and help to broaden the products offered and grew the agency. In 2006, Dick’s son, Jeff joined the agency force after graduating from college.

In 2008, we acquired another multi-generational local independent agency in Omaha, TX, formerly Ray Thigpen Insurance Agency. This broadened our opportunities with acquiring new contracts with different insurance companies that allowed us to offer more products to our existing clients. In 2013, we acquired another agency in nearby Naples, TX formerly known as Charles Smith Insurance Agency. We currently serve our clients from two office locations in Northeast Texas as well as state wide.
